 Polishing performance is related to the quality of the smelting process; the higher the quality of the smelting process for mold steel, the finer the impurities, and the better the mirror-finish result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0SKD61 is a chromium-based hot-work die steel <\/strong>(4Cr5MoSiV1) with a carbon (C) content of 0.38% and a hardness of HRC 50. To meet the requirements of higher hardness, better toughness, and superior polishing performance, only the high-toughness LG mold\u00a0steel <\/strong><\/a>is capable of doing so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 LG is a proprietary high-toughness die steel developed by Yuhui Company. Its toughness is 8 to 9 times that of DC53, with a hardness of HRC 54\u201358; it is so tough that it will not break even when bent by hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 As Mr. Yu mentioned, LG mold steel<\/strong> combines hardness and toughness. Even 60-grade hardened material\u2014scrap left over from wire cutting\u2014won\u2019t break when bent 180 degrees and will spring back after the force is released. LG offers both toughness and rigidity, making it highly sought after by those in the plastic mold industry; it works exceptionally well for wire-cutting slender cores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
