High-carbon cold-work die steels like LD and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wudejiansteel.com\/?p=983\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">DC53<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0are too brittle and prone to breaking. Over the past two years\u2014and now into the third year\u2014he has been testing various types of steel, but in the end, the high-toughness LG die steel has proven to be the most reliable. This time, he purchased 11 pieces to manufacture his high-strength impact shafts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>LG die steel<\/strong>&nbsp;has 8\u20139 times the toughness of DC53, with a hardness of 54\u201358 HRC.
