The mold steel must be non-stick and of high hardness, otherwise the mold will be quickly worn away, resulting in burrs on the product. 718 is an alloy structural steel, which does not have high wear resistance. 8503 is a non-stick mold steel with a proprietary alloy ratio developed by Wu Dejian. It has a hardness of 55-61HRC and an anti-chipping performance twice that of DC53. However, compared to DC53, its performance is doubled without doubling the price, and it also offers the benefit of non-stick material. Especially, this non-stick characteristic, coupled with its high hardness, is a fundamental and effective solution to the problem of molds with high glass fiber content, which are prone to being eroded, leading to product burrs and mold galling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
