Don’t say that 8433 heat-resistant mold steel is expensive—major clients who can afford it are placing bulk orders.blog 297

Don’t say that 8433 heat-resistant mold steel is expensive—major clients are willing to buy it. The heat resistance and stability of 8433 are 2–3 times that of H13, with a hardness of 50–54 HRC. It won’t lose its hardness through annealing over its service life. It’s especially worth noting that even if you repair the mold until it’s worn out, the hardness on the back side won’t decrease. I saw these four pieces of 8433 heat-resistant steel in the workshop—1.5 metric tons of material ready for shipment. I just want to say: don’t say it’s expensive; major clients are willing to buy it.

In business, you should always target major clients. Just these four pieces alone total 1.5 metric tons. Some people buy only a little bit and still find fault with everything. You can doubt the character of wealthy people, but you can’t doubt their intelligence. If their IQ were lower than yours, they wouldn’t be wealthy. Since they’re wealthier than you, there must be something unique about them that allowed them to become wealthy. The fact that major clients are willing to place large orders and place repeat orders shows that they recognize the performance of this mold steel.

They’re willing to spend real money on Heat-Resistant Steel 8433, and four pieces alone weigh one and a half metric tons. I don’t think many factories can afford that—especially not in a single purchase—which further proves the superior performance of Heat-Resistant Steel 8433.

If your hot-forging dies use H13 or other mold steels and suffer from rapid die collapse and short service life, you should give heat-resistant steel 8433 a try. Its heat resistance and stability are 2–3 times that of H13, with a hardness of 50–54 HRC. It does not anneal out over its service life. It is particularly worth emphasizing that even if you repair the die until it is scrapped, the hardness on the back side will not decrease.

8433 is a mold steel developed by Wudejian with proprietary alloy composition and smelting processes. It currently far surpasses competing products in multiple performance areas—including high heat resistance, fatigue resistance, high toughness, and high thermal conductivity—making it one of the few steels of its kind. It is used by over 100 companies, including Fortune 500 firms, publicly traded companies, and large and medium-sized automotive parts manufacturers such as Valeo, South China Precision Forging, and Sanlian Forging.

The fact that this customer chose heat-resistant steel 8433 for their large die demonstrates their recognition of 8433’s performance and service life. Since 8433 prevents die collapse and cracking, it enables extremely high efficiency in automated forging and significantly reduces costs—it might as well be free. For hot-forging dies prone to collapse or cracking, using 8433 die steel is even more satisfying than eating braised pork.

I am Wu Dejian, the “King of Die Steel,” from Dongguan Yuhui Die Steel. Yuhui Die Steel is used by three Fortune 500 companies, and Kyocera has been sourcing Yuhui Die Steel for seven consecutive years.

If you’re unsure about which die steel to choose, or if the die steel you’re currently using results in short mold life and you don’t know which one to switch to, come find me. I’ve already solved complex problems related to die material selection, manufacturing, and usage for over 4,000 companies. I’m confident that when it comes to die steel selection and application, I can serve as your chief advisor and help you avoid costly trial-and-error.
