Record the first wave of customers who visit during the new year.

The first wave of customers for the new year came from Dalingshan, Dongguan.

This customer has been in contact since the New Year. He works on aluminum cold heading molds and now uses DC53 die steel, which cracks the mold quickly and cannot produce the product. No matter how the mold is optimized, its lifespan cannot be improved.

Today, I contacted you again and wanted to talk to you face-to-face about LG die steel.

After the face-to-face conversation, I found out that they are a large company with an annual output value of 900 million yuan. They only have 2000 CNC machining equipment and their business has reached the world. The company has bought land and built factories in Vietnam.

Now we are new to the aluminum cold heading industry, and we are unsure about the materials used in molds. The technical personnel who contacted me before, today with the head of the development department, came to talk about mold materials and how to improve their lifespan.

I introduced to them the most common failures of aluminum cold heading molds, the characteristics required for molds, the pitfalls to avoid in material selection, the causes of current mold failures, how to improve mold structures, precautions for mold processing, and how both parties can cooperate in mold material selection, mold processing, mold heat treatment, mold use, and other aspects. Judging from their reaction, we had a pleasant conversation.

Actually, before they came, they already had some understanding of me. The technical personnel who contacted me said that I have watched almost all of the more than 1000 videos you took. The development leader asked, when did you start collaborating with Kyocera. I also know how many times the toughness of LG’s DC53 is, and I am very interested in the non fracture characteristics of LG die steel when bent.

From these words, you can feel that they have done their homework, indicating that they are sincere and not here to freeload their skills. And I can feel that they are not sensitive to price at all.

As the head of the development department advised the technicians, die steel is cheap and has a short lifespan. You need to make many molds, and the processing cost is expensive. Die steel is a bit more expensive, but its lifespan is long and the processing cost is cheap. The principle is the same. For molds that are used for a long time, don’t worry about price, pursue lifespan.

Some accounts are calculated by everyone, but some people are greedy and want both.
