This morning’s two orders are quite heartwarming to me.
One is an old customer who knew that the price of SKH51 had increased significantly, but still paid without hesitation, which made me feel very warm.
The recent price increase of tungsten alloy has tripled, forcing the prices of high-speed steel and powder high-speed steel to increase. However, fortunately, my clients have been reasonable and did not make things difficult for me due to the price increase. This has made me feel a hint of warmth in the business.
Another customer who makes mechanical gears has come to purchase high toughness LG die steel, doubling their purchase volume this time. Another customer who makes mechanical gears uses expensive LG die steel, which gives me hope for the market.
For users who make mechanical gears, their gears were previously made of alloy structural steels such as 20CrMnTi, 40Cr, 42CrMo, etc. However, some thin-walled gears and high torque gears made of these low-alloy structures have insufficient strength and are prone to twisting, deformation, or cracking.
If there is really no way to solve it, they will spend a lot of money (actually not expensive, just compared to 42CrMo) to purchase high toughness LG die steel. But because of its good performance, they will occasionally purchase high toughness LG die steel.
There are already 5-6 machinery factories that periodically purchase high toughness LG die steel from Yuhui to make high-strength gears or shafts, and one or two of them are also customers of Dahui.
Although the vast majority of machinery factories use cheap steel, there are also exceptions, such as my 5-6 machinery factories. Since there are five or six, there should be fifty or sixty, or even five or six hundred, which gives me hope. A hopeful life is always warm.
